Learning how to cope with these varied diets on a limited budget has stretched my creativity to say the least. If you are struggling in a similar situation, here are a few tips I’ve learned along the way: 1. Focus On Foods You  Can  Have For most people, whole foods are still an acceptable and desirable part of their diet: meats, fruits, vegetables, and certain grains, seeds and nuts. Focusing on those foods will not only make you healthier, but help you stick to your budget. Avoid overly processed foods with long lists of ingredients that could create dietary issues. 2. Make It Yourself Instead of purchasing items like breads, sweets and snacks, learn how to make them yourself. That way you know exactly what ingredients go into each food item and you can tweak recipes to meet your dietary needs. After the holidays, I always feel like I need a major detox. I love to indulge in all the holiday goodies and feasts, and probably a little too much red wine, so when January comes around, I’m ready to clean up my diet. LEMON DETOX DIET

The lemonade diet is a fasting diet that relies on an entirely liquid-based diet. Also known as the Master Cleanse, the lemonade fast is rumored to have wonderful benefits when it comes to weight loss as it is purported to cleanse toxins (Master Cleanse) and burn fat. There’s a downside with this diet that most people aren’t prepared for with any juice fast. Unfortunately, no solids are to be eaten for at least 10 days, which can make you feel very hungry. Better Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS Devil’s Food Chocolate cake mix plus ingredients listed on the cake box 1 14-   ounce   can sweetened condensed milk 1 16-   ounce   jar caramel sauce 1 8-   ounce   tub of Cool Whip 4   Heath bars   chopped INSTRUCTIONS Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9x13 dish by spraying with nonstick spray. Make the cake according to the package directions for a 9x13 cake. When the cake is done baking use the round handle end of a wooden spoon and poke holes all throughout the cake. Pour the sweetened condensed milk all over the top of the cake and spread it out. Then pour the caramel sauce over the top of the cake and spread it out. Refrigerate the cake for at least two hours. Spread the Cool Whip on top of the cooled cake and sprinkle with chopped Heath bars. The Article Adopted From Here

PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIE BARS

INGREDIENTS Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie MIX Eggs Oil 1 cup  Reese's Peanut Butter Chips 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Best Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting INSTRUCTIONS We like the Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix because of the rich dark chocolate taste and the extra chocolate chips in the batter but go ahead and use your favorite brand of brownie mix. Make up the brownie batter according to the directions on the package and then add 1 cup of Reese's Peanut Butter Chips! Pour into a 13" x 9" pan and bake according to the directions on the box. Allow the brownies to completely cool. You are going to frost the pan of brownies with our Best Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting. It you want to make the Peanut Butter Brownie Bars a little fancier ... melt 1/2 cup of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips in a plastic bag in the microwave. Cut of a very tiny bit from the corner of the plastic bag and drizzle the melted chocolate over the top of the Peanut Butter

STRAWBERRY LEMON BLONDIES

Ingredients blondies 1   cup   2 sticks or 228 grams unsalted butter, at room temperature 3/4   cup   sugar   164 grams 1   large egg 1/4   cup   55 grams fresh squeezed lemon juice 2 1/4   cups   306 grams all purpose flour (use the fluff/scoop/level method for measuring) 1/2   tsp   baking powder 1/2   tsp   salt 1   cup   127 grams diced fresh strawberries glaze 1   cup   112 grams, unsifted weight powdered sugar, sifted 1   Tbsp   strawberry puree   you'll need about 2 large strawberries, instructions below lemon juice   about 1 Tbsp, or just enough to thin the glaze to a spreadable consistency Instructions Preheat the oven to 350F Line a 9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper with long edges. This will help you lift out the blondies for easy glazing and slicing later. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg. When the egg is full incorporated, beat in the lemon juice. The lemon juice will probably not completely incorporate at this point, that's ok.

Ingredients 1 1/2   cups   waffle cone crumbs   (about 10-12 cones) 5   Tablespoons   butter   melted 8   ounces   ricotta cheese   room temperature (full fat preferably) 8   ounces   mascarpone cheese   room temperature (full fat preferably) 1/2   cup   granulated sugar 2   large   eggs 1   teaspoon   vanilla extract 1/2   teaspoon   fresh orange zest 1/4   teaspoon   ground cinnamon 3/4   cup   mini chocolate chips Optional: powdered sugar Instructions Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line the bottom and two sides of 9x9-inch square baking pan with parchment paper if desired. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the cone crumbs and butter. Press mixture into bottom of the prepared baking pan to form a thin even crust. In a large mixing bowl beat together ricotta, mascarpone, and granulated sugar until well combined with an electric mixer on medium speed. Beat in eggs one at a time.
